Hi! I'm Renee!  I'm a long-time entrepreneur with a passion for creating and inspiring.  From early on, fashion and styling have interested me.  Shopping traditional retail did not always provide designs my family and I could relate to.  Because I love to create and it's one of the ways I express myself, my passion for designing grew to new heights.

With the blessing and support of my wonderful family, A Meaningful Mess launched in January of 2019 featuring a collection in honor of Black History Month. Since then, we have added designs that speak to our faith, culture, sense of humor, and more!  Our goal is to offer unique apparel and accessories that make meaningful statements that are either empowering, encouraging, or entertaining.
