CinTa Girl

My product line is called CinTa Girl. I chose this name because of what it historically represents to my family.

Cinta is a beautiful township in Margibi County, the Republic of Liberia. It is named after a renown leader in the area—Chief Cin. In the Kpelle ethnic language the name Cin, means spider, and Ta, means township. A man of wisdom and multiple talents, Chief Cin earned the reputation of a man with many legs, hands, and the ingenuity of a spider.

My maternal great grandfather, Reverend Dr. Daniel Richard Horton, bought land and established a rubber farm in Cinta. From childhood, my mother shared with me wonderful stories about great-grandpa and his life on the Cinta farm. My great grandfather was a talented and innovative man; he utilized the natural resources on his farm to make a variety of products. He made his own cooking and body oils, soaps, teas, honey, butter, nuts, juices, jellies, rubber, and other organic creations.

The products of CinTa Girl are all made from natural ingredients and are carefully chosen, mixed, and packaged. I am a “natural” girl and very conscientious about what I consume or use on my body for personal grooming. I am equally particular about feeding my family natural foods and using products that are organically grown. As the proprietor of CinTa Girl, I hope that you will enjoy my creations just as my family and close friends have favored and enjoyed through the years.
