Rosandra Vi (pronounced Ro-San-dra Vee) Organics founder Tammara Shanice started making her own hair oils in 2016. She began researching the properties of various essential and carrier oils to create formulas for moisture, growth, retention, shine, and overall health. She understands the importance of quality ingredients and has sourced and tested appropriately for quality assurance.

The name Rosandra Vi represents the women that have shaped her values and commitment to integrity, quality, and ethics. Rosa, her paternal grandmother; Sandra, her mother, and paternal aunt; Vi or Vivian, her maternal grandmother she was never privileged to meet representing her maternal aunts, Barbara and Sylvia, have shaped her worldview on femininity and black power. Her work ethic and pride stem from the resilience, intelligence, and grace of these women.

These values ensure the integrity of the labels and the quality of the ingredients. All ingredients have been procured from ethically sourced manufacturers for quality assurance and results.
