Chez Bébé was founded by Brandi Lilly McLean and her kidpreneur daughter, India Jolie, who dreamt up one of the company’s most popular designs when she was only four years old and attending a French immersion school in NY.  Now nine, India serves as Chez Bébé’s design director and is heavily involved in the creation of new products and serves as a creative driver and decision maker.

The belief in imagination and the power to bring ideas to life is woven into the fabric of the brand.  Chez Bébé means “children’s place” in French.  Brandi empowered India to design her own bedding in eco-friendly cotton after refusing her choice of low quality polyester character designs.  She rejected institutional  bedwetting pads to solve nighttime training accidents and created a designer solution that empowers children while keeping sheets dry.  Brandi leveraged her textile industry and international product sourcing expertise, with the wisdom of life as a busy mom of three to create Chez Bébé.
