It’s Our 2nd Anniversary! Let’s Celebrate Black-Owned Businesses!!
It's our Anniversary week! And to celebrate our two-year anniversary, Black-Owned Association is launching our marketplace for black-owned businesses and brands to promote their products and services!
Black-Owned Association is proud to start an alternative marketplace option to giant eCommerce platforms, such as Amazon and eBay, that make it hard for small businesses like yours to thrive in this competitive capitalist economy.
We may not have the deepest pockets [yet], but we know marketing, analytics, and customer acquisition. Now is the time for us to put in the additional time to work with black entrepreneurs and small black-owned small businesses and brands to share knowledge through our vendor partnership. Ultimately, our goal is to give small black-owned businesses the knowledge and tools to help them thrive on their own as it pertains to acquisition marketing or in other words acquiring customers and generating sales.
As we continue to create more opportunities and spaces to help small black-owned businesses get the exposure and have special place online to exist for consumers of all backgrounds to access, we encourage black-owned businesses to add to this resource. If you have your black-owned business on huge platforms such as Yelp and Google that are capitalizing off of this black-owned business wave, why not list your black-owned business on a black-owned platform? Take advantage of the current opportunities, such as adding a business listing, promoting your listing, adding a deal to your listing, adding your products and more! The more “real estate” or space your business takes up online, the more you increase your online presence for your business and chances for your business to be seen by new users and audiences. As we celebrate two years in business, we think back on all the black-owned businesses that we published on our website and social media pages. We are so inspired by the creativity and perseverance of this business community. Many of us made it through or was creating our businesses during the pandemic. If you made it through one of the roughest times for business owners, much less black-owned business owners, we are celebrating you too for our two-year anniversary.
Thank you to all the black-owned businesses and supporters of all backgrounds for all the participation in this effort. We will need your support every day to keep this movement going. Please follow us, like us and seek to engage with us as the Meta (Instagram and Facebook) algorithms haven’t appeared to be too kind to us since last year in January. We are happy to take a simple follow, like and comment if nothing else. But we want you to come to our website regularly to shop with the black-owned businesses that have their business or products listed.
